Emilie Kiser’s step brother posts and deletes cryptic video of himself following the death of her son

‘Everything changes. A call you never saw coming. A goodbye you didn’t get to say’

The step brother of influencer Emilie Kiser posted and then deleted a cryptic heartfelt video of himself, following the death of her son. Emilie’s son died last month, and prior to now, her step brother Nick Espinosa had not publicly said anything.

Three-year-old Trigg, who was known and loved by Emilie’s millions of followers, passed away in hospital in May, after drowning in a pool at the family’s home in Chandler, Arizona.

On Monday 12th May, local police responded to a report of a drowning. They found Trigg unconscious, after being pulled out of his family pool. Paramedics performed CPR at the scene, and the toddler was then taken to Chandler Regional Hospital before being moved to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for further care. Six days later, it was confirmed he has passed away.

Not much has been said since the news, and Trigg’s father Brady Kiser made his Instagram and TikTok profiles private. Emilie has since filed a lawsuit suing Arizona authorities to stop any information relating to the investigation from being publicly released.

However, over the weekend, the step brother of Emilie Kiser posted a video and then deleted it. Nick Espinosa posted the emotional video on Instagram. In it, he reflected on how quickly life can change.

“One day everything feels aligned. You’re making progress, chasing purpose, moving forward,” he said, as he was seen driving a car. “Then, just like that, everything changes. A call you never saw coming. A goodbye you didn’t get to say.”

In the video, he then left the car, and continued: “Don’t wait for the world to remind you how fragile this life is. Put the phone down. Go touch grass. Spend time with the people you love. Focus on what truly matters because life doesn’t wait. When you’re all out of time and there’s nothing left to chase, you realise it was never about the finish line, just the people and the moments that put a smile on your face.”
